peter

Peter started his professional photography career for the Ministry of Defence in the Netherlands in 2000. For 5 years he travelled all over the world taking action shots of the military, portraits and landscapes, in Europe, Canada, USA, Middle-East and Afghanistan. His passion in photography lies with connecting with people and seeing the transformation from idea to image.

After 5 years working for the military Peter ventured out on his own shooting anything from weddings to flower photography as well as many portraits in between.

In 2012, Peter moved to New Zealand and was instantly drawn to Wellington. Having worked at many studios in the area he eventually found himself at Project Bloom. Here he honed his fashion photography skills and has since worked with hundreds of clients over the past few years, helping to build confidence and give people a truly amazing experience. In August 2017 Peter bought Project Bloom and breathed fresh new life into the studio.

At the start of 2019, Peter officially launched Project Bloom’s sister company, Flair Studios.
